More than half a million dollars would get you a multitude of vehicles, not to mention a very nice home in most parts of the civilized world.

For example, you could get almost four new Mercedes-Benz G550 SUVs, three AMG G63s, pretty much any modern supercar and cash to spare or this particular G500 Cabriolet.

Belonging to the previous-generation of the German 4×4, it was made in 2012 and modified by Mansory. The tuner gave it the ‘Speranza’ moniker, which is Italian for ‘hope’, in addition to a plethora of aftermarket parts. Now they’re hoping (pun definitely intended) to find someone who is willing to part with €455,900 ($514,767), which is the open-top off-roader’s asking price on the Mobile ad.

In addition to the custom paintjob, the G-Wagen features a wide body kit conversion with fender flares, new bumpers, custom hood with scoop, widened side skirts, spare wheel holder and a few other parts, most of which are made of carbon fiber. A pair of custom headlights have replaced the stock units and the vehicle now rides on massive 23-inch wheels with a ten-spoke design, finished in a shade the echoes the rest of the exterior and shod in 305/30 high performance tires.

The interior sports a dual-tone look, combining light and dark brown leather. The seatbacks sport the tuner’s logo and things such as the infotainment system with sat-nav, dual-zone climate control and a few other gizmos are on deck.

The 5.5-liter V8 remains untouched though, as according to the ad, it still pumps out 382 HP (387 PS / 285 kW) and 391 lb-ft (530 Nm) of torque. With 1,150 miles (1,850 km) on the odo, the SUV is technically as good as new, although that doesn’t justify the huge premium it commands.
