Have you ever looked at the Roomy thinking it could do with more aggressive looks? Toyota has, so they have launched a series of official GR (Gazoo Racing) parts for it.

Sold exclusively in Japan, the tiny minivan, which is available with a small 1.0-liter engine and two- or four-wheel drive and is priced at 1,556,500 and 1,732,500 yen (equal to $14,808 / $16,483) respectively, has had its looks enhanced with the official accessories that bring it closer visually to the brand’s performance cars.

As detailed on the GR website, the aero agenda includes a big front apron that can be ordered with LED DRLs, new rear spoiler and larger side skirts which have decreased the ground clearance by 15 mm (0.6 in). The grille garnish, fog lamp garnish, front and rear mudguards, window visors and door handle protectors are also available for the Roomy in its local market, and so is the carbon fiber license plate frame, whereas rounding up the looks are the GR logos.

There are no upgrades for the youthful looking interior that can sit up to 5 adults, although with a lot of shoulder rubbing due to the cramped back seat. Otherwise, the Roomy is offered with some basic features, including the TFT color display in the higher grades, air conditioning, electric windows, a sound system, multi-function steering wheel and lots of storage spaces. Toyota has included several safety systems, and even a 5-liter (0.2 cu-ft) removable center trash bin.
