We have featured some of Woodworking Art’s creations in the past, and the craftsman’s latest is one of his most impressive.

The Ford Ranger Raptor has proven itself to be a superb pickup and, while it hasn’t landed on U.S. shores, it appeals to off-roading enthusiasts as well as less enthusiast-oriented pickup buyers. Given its popularity, it’s little surprise the YouTuber decided to make his own version of it.

As always, the woodworking specialist starts out with a massive chunk of wood before using a chisel and drill to carve out the body. While this video may make the process seem very simple, it is anything but and requires incredible attention to detail to adequately mimic the look of a real-life Ranger.

With the body carved out, he creates the hood and doors and then starts to use a drill and chisel to refine the front and rear fascias so as to perfectly mimic the Ranger Raptor. The pickup’s wheels and Goodyear Wrangler tires are then cut and carved.

Like some of his other wooden models, this one actually features a functional chassis with operational suspension and a simple steering system. What’s more, there is an engine bay carved out of wood and the builder even used screws and small chains to create a functional tailgate. Moreover, there’s even a set of side steps just like those of the real Ranger Raptor.
