Lamborghini recently revealed the SC20, a one-off track-focused V12 supercar with no windshield and unique styling.

It makes 760 hp (566 kW / 770 PS) and 531 lb-ft (720 Nm) of torque from its naturally aspirated 6.5L V12, and peak power comes in at an atmospheric 8500 rpm. Much of the SC20’s aero is borrowed from the Essenza SCV12 track car, while the overall styling is said to take inspiration from other Lamborghini concepts, specials, and one-offs such as the Sian, Veneno Roadster, Concept S and Diablo VT Roadster.

That being said, the SC20 is based on the Aventador platform, and as such, Youtube’s TheSketchMonkey has taken it upon himself to create what he believes the aging supercar’s successor could look like upon its eventual replacement using the SC20’s design language.

The changes he makes mainly include giving the car a windshield and roof, as well as removing the large rear wing to tone down the aggressive design a bit. Those changes are intended to make the Aventador’s replacement a much more practical supercar while still allowing it to look like nothing else on the road.

The Aventador’s replacement could come out as early as next year, and it is reportedly adding a “hybrid motor” to Lambo’s iconic V12. While that may upset some purists, the car needs electrification to pass increasingly more stringent emissions regulations if it wants to retain its twelve-cylinder engine. Power is expected to be up from the current Aventador S’s 730 hp (544 kW / 740 PS) and 507 lb-ft (690 Nm) of torque, so the 0-60 time and top speed are set to improve over the current model’s 2.9 seconds and 217 mph (350 km/h).
