Few vehicles better define the term ‘supercar’ quite like the Lamborghini Countach and collectors out there will be pleased to know that a rare example is looking for a new home.
This Countach is a 1982 LP400 S model and was sold new in the Middle East before being exported to the United States in the early 1990s. In 1994, it was seized by the DEA and sold at an auction. The seller has owned the car since 1997 and while it has been driven 65,000 km (~40,000 miles), it is still in good condition.

Lamborghini produced just 237 examples of the Countach LP400 S, including 82 Series III cars like this one. This example is painted in red and sits on 15-inch ‘phone-dial’ alloy wheels that measure 8.5-inch wide at the front and 12-inch wide at the rear and are wrapped in 205/50 front and 345/35 rear Pirelli tires.
The cabin features bucket seats clad in tan leather and contrasting the black carpets and black dashboard. The Bring A Trailer listing notes that the headliner has been replaced and the car retains standard equipment including the air conditioning and Blaupunkt AM/FM/cassette stereo system.
As standard, the car came with a 3.9-liter 60-degree V12. However, this Countach had its engine removed and rebuilt in May 2019. It is now equipped with 84 mm pistons and liners, a revised crankshaft, and a 66 mm stroke, meaning it displaces 4.4-liters. Coupled to this engine is a five-speed manual transaxle gearbox driving the rear wheels.
