If you want to pretend you’re Dominic Toretto from a Fast & Furious film, this 1968 Chevrolet Camaro would be right up your alley.

While this Camaro started out life like any other, it has since been the subject of a comprehensive restoration and modification regime that would make Vin Diesel proud. It has been driven just 2,800 miles (~4,500 km) since the restoration was completed and is being auctioned off on Bring A Trailer with refurbishment invoices, a set of custom black CVF Racing pulleys, and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.

Various changes have been made to the exterior of the Camaro thanks to new rear quarter panels, fenders, hood, trunk lid, and doors. The body was then painted in black PPG and adorned with satin black vinyl racing stripes. Other alterations made include the fitment of second-generation Camaro bullet-style wing mirrors, a black Ridetech fuel filler cap, Fesler LED taillights, and LED front turn signals. The car sits on 18-inch Forgeline GA3 wheels with a transparent smoke coating and wrapped in 225/40 and 335/30 Toyo Proxes R888 tires.

A lot of work has also been done under the skin. For example, there is a new front subframe, a rack and pinion steering setup, four-link rear suspension, Ridetech adjustable coilovers, Wilwood brake calipers and slotted, cross-drilled and ventilated rotors at all four corners.

Power is provided by a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 supplemented by an Edelbrock E-Force supercharger and a Holley Dominator electronic fuel injection system. This engine is mated to a Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission.

At the time of posting, on Bring A Trailer, the blacked out Camaro restomod had attracted a high bid of $58,000 with the auction set to conclude this Friday night at 11:15pm.
