Some parts of the northern hemisphere were hit hard by snow these past few days and weeks, so what do you do when you have so much of that white stuff lying around and plenty of free time?
This Lithuanian couple decided to use a whole lot of it to build a life-size Ferrari LaFerrari in their yard.
The whole job took the man of the house around two days, and some of his work was documented by the missus, who said that “if you can’t buy it, you can build it yourself”. “Now no one can deny that a Ferrari is standing in our yard.”

The life-size snow car replicates the looks of the multi-million dollar original Italian hybrid hypercar, including the Ferrari logos, and even sports a red and black exterior finish, achieved by applying “environmentally friendly paint”.
Built between 2013 and 2018, the LaFerrari’s production was limited to 710 units, including 500 coupes and 210 roadsters (Aperta). It went up against the likes of the McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder, and used a 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, which came paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, backed up by an electric motor.
The total output produced was 950 horsepower (963 PS / 708 kW) and 664 pound-feet (900 Nm) of torque, allowing the blue-blooded machine to accelerate to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.9 seconds. The 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) and 0-186 mph (0-300 km/h) took less than 7 seconds and 15 seconds respectively, and given enough room, the LaFerrari can max out at over 217 mph (350 km/h).
