A black Ford GT has been destroyed in a crash in Los Angeles involving at least two other vehicles, one of which was a white Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio.

The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon with the Los Angeles Fire Department responding to the crash at 4:28 p.m on Wilshire Boulevard in front of the Beverly Hills Plaza Hotel & Spa, Road & Track reports.

Certain details about the wreck remain unclear but it is claimed that the Ford split in half during the crash. Debris was also left scattered on the street and one person is said to have been ejected from the vehicle. Witnesses state that at least one individual was seen lying motionless in the street before emergency responders arrived on the scene.

Video filmed after the crash shows fire crews extinguishing a blaze that engulfed the Ford GT. The extent of the damage sustained to the Alfa Romeo and the other car involved in the incident remains unclear.

Road & Track notes that one user on Instagram who claims to have witnessed the crash saw the car lose control before catching fire. The same gloss black Ford GT was spotted on the streets of Beverly Hills earlier in the day and sported a temporary plate.

The condition of those involved in the crash remains unclear.
