B&B AutomobilTechnik have introduced a four-stage power upgrade for the Audi RS Q3 Sportback, which also suits its more practical sibling, the RS Q3 SUV.
Stage 1 costs €1,798 ($2,159) in Germany and consists of a software re-map, boosting the output of the 2.5-liter turbo-five from 400 PS (394 HP / 294 kW) and 480 Nm (354 lb-ft) of torque to 458 PS (452 HP / 337 kW) and 565 Nm (417 lb-ft).

Stage 2 adds an optimized air intake that further improves the engine’s performance, allowing it to produce 476 PS (469 HP / 350 kW) and 610 Nm (450 lb-ft) in return for €2,950 ($3,542). Featuring a revised turbo and custom downpipe, Stage 3 boosts output to 508 PS (501 HP / 374 kW) and 655 Nm (483 lb-ft) and will set you back €5,950 ($7,144).
B&B AutomobilTechnik’s ultimate upgrade for the RS Q3 family is offered from €14,950 ($17,949). So, what do you get in return for paying the equivalent of a new supermini? That would be 593 PS (585 HP / 436 kW) and 705 Nm (520 lb-ft), obtained thanks to the upgraded turbocharger, high performance intercooler, sports exhaust system and other bits.
The seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission has been enhanced in all four stages in order to cope with the added power and the V-max limiter has been removed. Other parts for the RS Q3 and RS Q3 Sportback, such as the silencer, adjustable sport spring set and high-performance brakes, are optional and will set you back another €1,795 ($2,155), €498 ($598) and €4,950 ($5,943) respectively.
