Last time I reached a career milestone, I bought myself a pretty decent sandwich. Paulo Dybala, who kicks a ball real good, just bought himself a Lamborghini Aventador.

To be fair, the Juventus striker was celebrating his 100th goal for the legendary Italian team after his 251st appearance for it. So he is legitimately very good at what he does. And being based in Turin, just a few hundred kilometers from Sant’Agata Bolognese, he decided to take a look at what the town’s favorite automaker had for sale.

Indeed, Lamborghini had quite a few cars on offer, but the Argentinian soccer star opted for the Aventador S Roadster. The supercar is capable of hitting 62 mph in just 3 seconds thanks to its 730 hp naturally aspirated V12 engine.

“With the Aventador, it was love at first sight,” said Dybala. “I waited a few years before buying it, but now it’s very humbling, an honor and a privilege to be able to own one.”

The soccer star opted to get the car with a black interior with yellow stitching to match the Giallo Orion exterior.

“A Lamborghini has to be yellow,” he said. “I love how impactful it looks and I can perfectly identify with it: it’s young and prompts strong emotions, both while simply looking at it and while driving it.”

Dybala is the first non-European player to score 100 goals for Juventus. The striker netted his goal in a 3-1 win over Sassuolo on May 12. He actually wasn’t the only player to celebrate that night, as teammate Cristiano Ronaldo also scored his 100th goal for the club in the same match.
