The road to production has been long and winding, but for Bronco reservation holders who are still feeling the sting of a car that isn’t ready yet. But those customers should be getting a limited edition hammock in the mail.

The hammock comes with a letter asking reservation holders to “hang in there.” The hammock is a sign of the outdoor lifestyle that Bronco owners will be able to live once they get their new Bronco, says the letter per TFL Car.

“As an owner, you will have access to exclusive benefits while your Bronco is being prepared,” writes Ford in the letter. “In the meantime, we urge you to explore the endless possibilities for your future Bronco adventures.”

The hammock comes in a fun carrying bag covered in Bronco-related logos for things like the G.O.A.T. mode, the Outer Banks, and more. It should therefore make a nice memento for any Bronco owner, not just the reservations holders who are the only people getting them. That might explain why so many of these have already ended up on eBay with prices ranging from $50 to $200.

The hammock is just the latest attempt that Ford has made to smooth things over with Bronco customers, many of whom have been left waiting much longer than expected for their new Broncos.

Like the rest of the industry, Ford has been affected by semiconductor shortages, but the Bronco hardtop specifically has been dogged by delays because of the molded-in color roof. Produced by an external supplier, it quickly became evident that many of them were suffering production issues.

Ford, therefore, took the decision to remake every single hardtop that had been produced through August. The automaker said that its supplier, Webasto, is adding a second facility in metro Detroit to help produce more roofs.

The automaker said it will send out all relevant information about build dates and delivery dates as soon as it can. In the meantime, reservation holders can at least camp out in their backyards while they wait thanks to their new hammock.
