This article includes independent illustrations for a hypthetical CT5 Sports Wagon made by Instagram user  sugardesign_1 who is neither related to nor endorsed by Cadillac.

It is highly, highly unlikely that Cadillac will launch a wagon version of the current CT5. However, these renderings show that if it did move to develop such a model, it could look absolutely sensational.

As you probably already know, the CT5 replaces the CTS in Cadillac’s range. However, whereas previous iterations of the CTS have been offered in sedan, coupe, and wagon variations, the CT5 is only sold as a four-door sedan. That’s a real shame as offering it in more body styles could help to boost sales.

Not dissuaded by this fact, Instagram user sugardesign_1 has digitally redesigned the current CT5 sedan into an estate model that takes inspiration from the CTS Wagon. With this in mind, the five-door CT5 has very similar taillights to the CTS Wagon, stretching up from the bumper to the roof and giving the car a very cool appearance. With the shape of the rear end is pretty much identical to the CTS Wagon, it still looks quite modern.

Elsewhere, these stunning CT5 Wagon renderings depict the car with a set of large silver wheels and a front fascia that has gone virtually unchanged from the sedan. That’s no bad thing as the headlights of the sedan actually complement the taillights of the Wagon quite nicely.

The dream for a particular, and admittedly, very limited group of enthusiasts, would be for Cadillac to offer the CT5 Wagon in flagship V Blackwing guise. Such a model would have the same 6.2-liter supercharged V8 as the sedan, pumping out 668 hp and giving it the grunt needed to out-muscle the Audi RS6 Avant.
