Renault Australia has expanded the Captur range with the launch of the new flagship R.S. Line model.

Joining the Life, Zen, and Intens variants, the Captur R.S. Line comes standard with a host of unique design features. These include a set of distinctive 18-inch R.S. Line diamond-cut alloy wheels, a restyled front bumper that’s slightly more aggressive with an F1-inspired aero blade, dual chrome exhaust tips, gunmetal grey trim, front and rear skid plates, and of course, R.S. Line badges.

Renault’s alterations continue into the cabin of the range-topping Captur where chrome R.S. Line door sills stand out, as do alloy pedals, carbon-look interior trim, red and grey contrast stitching, and R.S. badging. The SUV also features a fully digital 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a frameless auto-dimming rearview mirror, Easy Park Assist hands-free parking system, and automatic high/low beam headlights.

“Captur R.S. Line channels the strong sporting heritage of the Renault brand as we continue to expand our product offering in Australia,” Renault Australia general manager Glen Sealey said in a statement. “With strategic additions like this Captur R.S Line, Renault is offering consumers even more choice as we begin to grow the product portfolio. With new commercial vehicles arriving later this year, and the recent well-received reveal of the all-new Megane E-Tech, it’s exciting times ahead for Renault.”

All Captur models sold in Australia come with the same 1.3-liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 113 kW (152 hp) and 270 Nm (199 lb-ft) of torque. This engine works alongside a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission driving the front wheels.

Australia’s Captur range kicks off with the Life that’s available from AU$30,090 ($22,597) and grows to AU$32,090 ($24,099) for the Zen, AU$37,090 ($27,854) for the Intens, and AU$39,590 ($29,731) for the new R.S. Line.
