This is the Toyota GR Supra GT4 ‘50 Edition’, a limited-run version of the GR Supra GT4 race car that will be restricted to just six units worldwide.

It has been 24 months since sales of the GR Supra GT4 started in Europe before arriving in North America, Japan and Asia by October 2020. A total of 50 examples had been sold by the end of 2021 and GR Supra GT4s had competed in more than 250 races, claimed 36 race wins, and secured 78 podiums.

The GR Supra GT4 ’50 Edition’ has been launched to celebrate the 50 sales of the race car. Just two units will be allocated to Asia, Europe, and North America respectively and each is priced at €175,000 (~$192,900).

All six cars are painted in Toyota Gazoo Racing red and include ’50 Edition’ gold stickers on the sides and roof. Toyota has also made some tweaks to the interior of the race car by fitting new OMP racing seats with GR Supra GT4 embroidery, a special navigation controller with a ’50 Edition’ logo and a uniquely numbered plaque on the carbon fiber dashboard. Customers will also receive a branded indoor car cover.

Those interested in securing an allocation can register their interest through regional Toyota Gazoo Racing centers.

This year, the Toyota GR Supra GT4 will race in the likes of the GT4 European Series, Nurburgring Endurance Series, ADAC GT4 Series, DTM Trophy, British GT Championship, Super Taikyu Series, Fanatic GT World Challenge Asia, IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, and Pirelli GT4 America.

Powering the car is a tuned version of the road car’s 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder with 430 hp that’s coupled to a seven-speed automatic transmission with a mechanical limited-slip differential. It also weighs 145 kg (319 lbs) less than the road-legal model.
