The GMC Hummer EV has already sold out for the first model year, but demand is still as high as ever. And it seems people are taking note of this, as a Hummer EV Edition 1 with 800 miles (1,287 km) on the odometer just sold on Bring A Trailer for a ridiculous $275,000.

That makes it 2.5 times as expensive as the truck’s MSRP of $110,295, and it’s not the first crazy Hummer EV sale we’ve seen. Around three weeks ago, another Edition 1 with 400 miles (644 km) on it sold for $286,000 at Mecum’s Glendale auction, which seems to indicate there’s more to come of this trend.

As is the case with every Edition 1, this one is finished in Interstellar White with a black T-top roof, and it sits on a set of black and silver wheels with off-road tires as part of the Extreme Off-Road Package that’s standard on the Edition 1. The interior is upholstered in what GMC calls Lunar Horizon – a combination of Jet Black and Gray leather – which is paired with satin bronze trim. The truck also features various “Edition 1” badges throughout.

Powering the Hummer are three electric motors making 1,000 hp (1,014 PS / 746 kW) and 1,000+ lb-ft (1,356+ Nm) of torque, which is enough to rocket the 9,046-lb (4,103 kg) behemoth from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 3 seconds. The truck also comes standard with all the best Hummer EV features, including Watts To Freedom launch control, four-wheel steering with CrabWalk, and GM’s Super Cruise driver assistance system.
