The Honda Civic Type R debuted just a few days ago, but the Japanese carmaker has already unveiled a genuine accessory range for their latest hot hatch.

The highlight is a new carbon-fiber wing that weighs 1 kg (2.2 pounds) less than the stock unit and looks infinitely cooler. It also adopts a different shape, with sharper profiles and a more prominent blade for greater downforce, while retaining the same metal base.

The only other exterior accessory, for the time being, is the red-painted mirror caps, matching the red brake calipers, as well as the Honda and Type R emblems. Moving inside, Honda is offering side-sill plates with an illuminated Type R logo, carbon-fiber / Red polyester twill weave accents on the center console and doors cards, an aluminum shift knob wrapped in red leather, special floor mats, puddle lights, and a wireless charging pad. Finally, there is a clear protective film for the rear bumper and the side sills, LED lights for the boot plus a luggage tray with the Civic logo.

The add-ons will be available in Japan, starting from September, selling under the Honda Access brand. Honda has yet to announce pricing for the accessories.
