The Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro is a truly remarkable hypercar and YouTuber MrJWW recently had the chance for a shotgun ride around Silverstone.
As you probably already know, the AMR Pro is the track-only variant of the Valkyrie, with Aston Martin boldly claiming it would be able to lap a circuit as fast as a Formula 1 car. It is extraordinarily quick and while Nico Hulkenberg notes that an F1 car offers performance a couple of levels above the Valkyrie AMR Pro, the way it accelerates and speeds through corners is enough to take your breath away.

The first half of the video shows MrJWW in the passenger seat of the car with the popular F1 driver immediately pushing the car to its limits from the moment he left the pitlane. The sound produced by the 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12 will likely be the first thing that catches your attention, followed by the brutal shifts of the transmission. Then, if you look through the windshield, you’ll begin to notice just how fast the car is.
After a handful of hot laps, MrJWW spokes with Hulkenberg about the car, who reveals that they were pulling up to 2.5Gs through some of the corners and as much as 3G under heavy braking.
There are a few things that Hulkenberg would change if this was his personal car, however. He notes that the front end had a little too much understeer for his liking and that he would like to adjust both the aerodynamic balance and the brake balance.
