Following in the footsteps of its larger brethren, the Blazer, the Chevrolet Trailblazer has received a facelift for the 2024MY that brings some subtle tweaks to the exterior styling as well as a larger touchscreen inside. At the same time, it continues on with the same engines, the same trim levels, and most of the same interior content. Here’s a quick breakdown of what 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer customers can expect.

From the outside, the new Trailblazer stands out with narrowed daytime running lights and a tighter front fascia. The grille is still split into two sections but the upper one is minimized and the bowtie emblem has moved to the crossbar as well. We expect slight differences in front fascia styling, lighting, and grille design that’ll be dependent on trim.

In addition, Chevrolet is introducing new wheel designs across the Trailblazer lineup including a set of 19-inch rims for the RS trim. Two new colors make their way into the catalog too. Those are Copper harbor Metallic (seen below) and Cacti Green. The interior gets some big updates too.

Most notably, Chevy is introducing a new 11-inch-diagonal center infotainment system and an 8-inch-diagonal digital gauge cluster. Those are both big upgrades over last year’s best option which was an 8-inch infotainment system and a pretty drab gauge cluster. As a result of the bigger screens, Chevy has moved the climate control vents from above the infotainment screen to below it.

Overall, it gives the dash a cleaner look with a more upright appearance and what we imagine will be easier operation. It’s worth noting that it’s standard across all four trims, LS, LT, ACTIV, and RS. It also includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other than the changes outlined above, the Trailblazer is largely the same for 2024.

It still comes with either a 1.2-liter 137 hp (102 kW) engine or a 1.3-liter unit that develops 155 hp (115 kW). Front-wheel drive is standard though all-wheel drive remains available. Almost all Trailblazers will use a continuously variable transmission to transmit power. The only exception is those equipped with a 1.3-liter engine and AWD. In that case, the SUV uses a nine-speed conventional automatic transmission.
