It’s not just normal enthusiasts who are excited about the next-generation, 2024 Ford Mustang; tuning companies are, too. One of the best-established names in the game, Saleen, has just revealed its plans for the car.

Released on the occasion of the Mustang’s 59th birthday, as you might expect, the tuner has big plans for big power. As of today, it is working on three versions of the 2024 Saleen Mustang, which offer three different levels of performance.

The first is the White Label, and it will be the most tame. That is, of course, a relative statement, since it will feature “a minimum” of 500 hp (373 kW/507 PS). That is the same amount as the Dark Horse trim makes from the factory, but that doesn’t mean that the power will be the only modification.

The Yellow Label will satisfy those who want to be able to leave the Dark Horse in the dust. It will feature a 2023 Mustang Shelby GT500-rivaling 750 hp (559 kW/760 PS). Saleen doesn’t go into specifics about how that will be achieved, but it seems likely that some forced induction will be called upon.

If a lot of power simply won’t do, the tuner will offer a ridiculous amount of horses with the Black Label. This model “will exceed” 800 hp (597 kW/811 PS), Saleen says, and it will be interesting to see how Mustang drivers handle so many wild ponies going directly to the rear wheels.

In addition to the modifications under the hood, Saleen will also alter the exterior. The American tuning house revealed what it calls its 2024 Saleen Mustang 302 design render – a nod to the Boss 302 that was first introduced to the Ford lineup in 1969.

Saleen has yet to disclose the release date for their Mustang tuning package, but Ford has announced that the new Mustang will be available to customers this summer.
