BMWs have been heavily promoted in recent Mission: Impossible films, but the latest will feature an unlikely hero – a classic Fiat 500 Abarth.

To celebrate its inclusion in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, Stellantis has released a new marketing campaign built around the idea of “Mission Possible.” It’s designed to promote the fact that EVs are no longer slow and boring.

The ad features footage from the film and then cuts to the New Abarth 500e, which was introduced last year. It sports an aggressive design as well as a 42 kWh battery pack that powers a 153 hp (114 kW / 155 PS) electric motor.

This enables the electric hatch to accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in seven seconds and travel up to 165 miles (265 km) on a single charge. Pricing starts at €37,950 ($41,424) in Italy and the model can get an 80% charge in as little as 35 minutes.

Getting back to the movie, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One hits theaters on July 12 and sees Tom Cruise return as Ethan Hunt. Little is known about the film at this point, but Hunt and his team have been tasked with tracking down a “terrifying new weapon” while “dark forces” from his past close in.
