Gunther Werks celebrated its entry into the UK and European markets by showcasing its first right-hand-drive commission. The bespoke Porsche 993 coupe restomod, built for a British customer, made its debut in a striking pink shade with prominent exposed carbon fiber accents.

The uniquely specced model, nicknamed ‘Bubblegum,’ was showcased at the Goodwood Festival of Speed alongside the orange-themed Project Tornado, which also made its debut across the Atlantic.

The standout feature of the build is the bespoke 3-stage pink pearlescent ultra-fine metallic paint applied to the carbon-fiber bodywork. This eye-catching color scheme is complemented by exposed carbon fiber accents on various parts, including the splitter, bumper intakes, bonnet stripes, rear wing, and five-spoke Fuchs-style wheels. Like other Gunther Werks builds, the 993-based restomod incorporates a custom wide bodykit and modern LED lighting units on both ends, effectively updating the exterior while staying true to the original design.

To maintain a cohesive theme, a matching interior design was chosen. The carbon fiber bucket seats are adorned with Alcantara inserts, which are also present on the three-spoke steering wheel. The dashboard is covered in leather with contrasting pink stitching. Even the seatbelts have been customized in a matching pink color, completing the coordinated interior aesthetic.

While Gunther Werks has not disclosed specific details regarding the “Bubblegum” model, it is known that the vehicle is equipped with a modified version of the 4.0-liter six-cylinder boxer engine coupled with a six-speed manual transmission. In its naturally-aspirated form, the engine generates 430 horsepower (320 kW / 435 PS) as seen in the 993 Speedster Remastered. However, in the extensively tuned twin-turbocharged Project Tornado, the power output can reach up to 700 horsepower (522 kW / 710 PS).

Although the specific pricing details for the pink-themed 993 by Gunther Werks have not been revealed, it is safe to assume that the vehicle is a high-end and exclusive offering, given the level of customization and craftsmanship involved. Following its arrival in Europe and the UK, Gunther Werks will likely generate interest for more customers, resulting in new builds.
