A Ford pickup driver was arrested in a dramatic incident in Georgia, USA, after engaging in burnouts and colliding with a crowd during an unlawful street takeover, commonly referred to as a sideshow.

The black Ford F-150 was captured on video performing donuts at the center of an intersection, coming perilously close to a cluster of stationary vehicles and onlookers. Seconds later, a Dodge Charger police car arrives on the scene, prompting the driver to halt the reckless maneuver and make an attempt to escape. In the midst of the chaos, with individuals dispersing from the area, the pickup accelerates directly into the crowd, striking a minimum of three people who then plummet to the pavement, possibly sustaining injuries.

The police officer initiated pursuit, which swiftly culminated after executing a pit maneuver. Emulating a scene akin to Hollywood action sequences, the officer adeptly exited the vehicle and smoothly glided across the hood, presenting a drawn firearm directed at the F-150 driver. He then apprehended the suspect, forcing him out of the truck’s window to make the arrest.

The incident was captured on camera by various bystanders. The footage subsequently surfaced on Instagram through multiple accounts, including that of @iamtaiboogie. While the accompanying description omits the specific location, the blue and silver livery of the police car adorned with orange letters makes us believe it is a Georgia State Patrol vehicle.

While the US police are often criticized for using excessive force in arrests, in this case, their actions were fully justified. Commenters praised the officer for doing his best to take a dangerous driver off the road and bring him to justice so that his actions won’t go unpunished.
