The 2024 Mercedes E-Class will arrive at U.S. dealerships in the first quarter and the company has announced the redesigned sedan will start at $62,300 before a $1,150 destination fee.
Costing $5,550 more than its predecessor, which came standard with rear-wheel drive, the 2024 E 350 4Matic features an evolutionary design with sweptback headlights, flush-mounted door handles, and LED taillights with a “star motif.” The model also comes equipped with AMG styling, a panoramic glass roof, and 18- to 21-inch wheels.
Moving inside, drivers will find a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.4-inch infotainment system. They’re joined by heated front seats, illuminated door sill plates, a 64-color ambient lighting system, and a wireless smartphone charger. The model also comes standard with digital key technology, which enables owners to lock, unlock, and start the vehicle with a compatible iPhone or Apple Watch.
On the safety front, buyers will find Active Brake Assist, Active Parking Assist, Blind Spot Assist, and Pre-Safe. Shoppers looking for additional features can get a Driver Assistance Package, which includes Active Distance Assist Distronic, Active Lane Keeping Assist, and Active Steering Assist. The package also adds Active Speed Limit Assist, Traffic Sign Assist, and Pre-Safe Impulse Side.
Speaking of options, the E-Class can be equipped with a 17-speaker Burmester 4D surround sound system that features Dolby Atmos spatial audio. Customers can also get a MBUX Superscreen Package, which adds a 12.3-inch front passenger display as well as an all-new selfie and video camera.
Besides individual options, there’s the Pinnacle trim, which begins at $64,850. It comes equipped with an illuminated grille as well as heat and noise insulating glass. Other highlights include a head-up display and an active ambient lighting system with sound visualization.

On the performance front, the E-Class has an Agility Control suspension with selective damping. Customers can also get an Airmatic Package, which includes an Airmatic air suspension as well as a rear axle steering system that enables the rear wheels to turn up to 4.5 degrees for improved maneuverability.
The E 350 4Matic is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 255 hp (190 kW / 259 PS) and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque. It features a mild hybrid system, which can deliver a boost of up to 23 hp (17 kW / 23 PS) and 148 lb-ft (200 Nm).
The engine is connected to a nine-speed automatic transmission, which is paired to a standard all-wheel drive system. This setup enables the model to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in approximately 6.1 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 130 mph (209 km/h).
Customers looking for more performance can opt for the E 450 4Matic, which begins at $68,100 and climbs to $70,650 in Pinnacle guise. It has a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six developing 375 hp (280 kW / 380 PS) and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque. It also has a mild hybrid system that can deliver a boost of up to 23 hp (17 kW / 23 PS) and 148 lb-ft (200 Nm).
