While we may still be experiencing the tail end of winter, Jeep is already gearing up for summer by unveiling two beach-themed special edition models for 2024. For the first time ever, the brand has decided to apply the “Jeep Beach” edition treatment to the Gladiator pickup.

Following in the steps of the Wrangler Jeep Beach model, which will be limited to 500 examples for 2024, the Gladiator Jeep Beach edition will be even more exclusive, as only 250 units will be made.

The Gladiator Jeep Beach edition is built upon the Willys model and features a body-color hardtop, hardtop headliner, sunrider fliptop, spray-in bedliner, and distinctive Jeep Beach decals. To help it handle sand, it comes equipped with 32-inch mud-terrain tires, steel rock rails, a rear-locking differential, and the Off-Road+ mode.

Inside, occupants will enjoy Mopar Katzkin leather seats embroidered with the Jeep Beach logo, as well as a 12.3-inch touchscreen, and a selection of advanced safety equipment, which includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, as well as trailer tow and programmable aux switches. Prices for the pickup start at $52,390 (all prices include $1,895 destination charge).

The Wrangler Jeep Beach 4xe is also based on the Willys trim (albeit the plug-in hybrid version, in this case), and it comes with a similar set of modifications. However, it gets 33-inch all-terrain tires, instead of the Gladiator’s 32s.

Otherwise, the upgrades are more or less the same, and include a body-color hardtop, a headliner, a sunrider fliptop, and Jeep Beach decals. It also gets steel rock rails, a locking rear diff, Off-Road+ mode, Mopar Katzkin leather seats, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, and more. Prices for the 2024 Jeep Wrangler Jeep Beach start at $62,290.

Both models will be available in the full range of paint colors, and orders open in select southeastern states this month.

While you don’t really need a reason to celebrate the beach, the automaker says that these models have been designed specifically to honor Jeep Beach 2024. The annual enthusiast show takes place in Daytona Beach, Florida, and runs from April 19 to 28 this year.

“Jeep Beach week in Daytona Beach, Florida, is one of the biggest Jeep enthusiast events in the U.S. Last year, more than 225,000 Jeep fans and 25,000 Jeep SUVs and trucks attended, and the event is set to be even bigger this year,” said Bill Peffer, the head of Jeep brand – North America. “The new 2024 model-year Wrangler and first-ever Gladiator Jeep Beach special editions are loaded with all the beach-ready content our customers tell us they want, so it’s a great opportunity to deliver these two new beach-ready Jeep 4x4s, customized from the factory, at this special weeklong event.”
