Bentley has unveiled a special version of the Bentayga in Japan, tailored specifically to female buyers and capped at just 10 examples. Instead of leaning into anything overtly feminine, Mulliner has taken a more restrained route, delivering something quietly distinctive rather than loudly themed.
Called the Bentley Bentayga Something Blue Collection by Mulliner, the model draws its name from the Victorian-era “Something Four” rhyme, a Western wedding tradition that has found popularity in Japan. For good fortune, brides are meant to wear something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue.

With that in mind, this Bentayga wears a metallic white ‘Ice’ paint finish that reveals subtle blue undertones in certain light. It rides on 22-inch silver wheels, with brake calipers finished to match the exterior paint.
Inside, the blue theme continues in careful doses. Bentley badges are embroidered in blue on the seat backrests, while delicate blue flower motifs appear on the dashboard.
The rest of the cabin pairs Linen and Graphite Grey leather. The grey surfaces extend across the steering wheel, upper door panels, dashboard, and around the central control unit and infotainment screen. Mulliner also fits bespoke scuff plates bearing ‘Something Blue Collection’ plaques, just in case anyone forgets which of the ten they are sitting in.
Bentley pulled the covers off the special Bentayga at Ooyane Plaza in Tokyo over the weekend, choosing a suitably polished setting for a car like this. Pricing starts at 34 million yen ($219,400), and several of the ten planned examples have already been spoken for.
Under the hood sits Bentley’s familiar 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8, serving up 542 hp and 568 lb-ft (770 Nm) of torque between 2,000 rpm and 4,500 rpm. In a luxury SUV that weighs as much as a small moon, that is more than sufficient. The Bentayga reaches 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.5 seconds and continues on to a 180 mph (290 km/h) top speed.
