- Ford partners with Filson for a premium Bronco special edition.
- Cabin adds quilted leather, magnetic gear bags, and less noise.
- A Raptor-sourced V6 pairs with a standard Sasquatch package.
Ford has joined forces with Seattle-based outdoor company Filson for a premium off-roader. The Bronco Filson combines the brand’s signature trail capability with high-quality materials designed to “wear in” with hard use rather than “wearing down”.
Visually, the Bronco Filson is distinguished by the unique front grille, the bespoke body-colored fender flares, the matching mirror caps, and the branded spare wheel cover. For added utility, Ford designers have integrated special trail sight tie-downs engineered to secure longer outdoor gear.

The color palette includes the Filson-specific Field Green Metallic shade along the Marsh Gray, Avalanche Gray, Desert Sand, Shadow Black, and Oxford White options. Furthermore, the Bronco Filson First Edition is painted in an exclusive Iron Sands Copper Metallic alongside unique fender badges.
Premium And Durable

The interior is even more special than the exterior, being focused on premium materials which are also durable enough to sustain years of hard use. The seats are upholstered in quilted and perforated leather with woven fabric inserts. More leather can be found all around the cabin, joined by brass inserts on the dashboard and the steering wheel.

A cool touch is the removable magnetic saddlebags integrated into the doors and the optional bags in the cargo area. Those are made of water- and dirt-resistant materials with customizable compartments to carry all kinds of gear.
Paul Wraith, global design director of Ford’s Sport Utility Vehicles, said: “There is a massive difference between premium and precious. If you’re hesitating because you’re afraid to get the cabin dirty, it doesn’t belong in a Bronco. Every material we chose with Filson had to be honest, tactile, and relentlessly durable. And like a great piece of gear, this interior isn’t meant to wear down, it’s designed to wear in, aging beautifully alongside you and your adventures.”
Besides the high-quality materials and the storage solutions, Ford has also improved NVH creating the quietest Bronco cabin yet. The automaker promises 20% less perceived wind noise compared to a 2021 Bronco thanks to “improved airflow, acoustic glass, and enhanced seals”.
Finally, equipment is quite generous, including a 12-inch touchscreen, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, an upgraded B&O audio system, a digital rearview mirror, power running boards, and an A-pillar grab handle.
Raptor Power, Sasquatch Gear
Under the hood, the Bronco Filson is powered by a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine. The mill is shared with the Bronco Raptor, though it benefits from specific tuning for smoother delivery. Ford didn’t reveal the specifications, but the Raptor is good for 418 hp (312 kW / 424 PS) and 440 lb-ft (597 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to all four wheels via a 10-speed automatic gearbox and an advanced 4WD system.

The Bronco Filson also comes standard with the Sasquatch package improving its off-road credentials. This includes front and rear electronic locking differentials, high-performance Fox shock absorbers with internal bypass technology, and 17-inch beadlock wheels shod in 35-inch rugged-terrain tires. The driver also has access to Trail Turn Assist, Trail 1-Pedal Drive, and the Terrain Management System featuring seven distinct G.O.A.T. modes.
Pricing And Availability
Ford Bronco Filson First Edition
The Bronco Filson will go on sale in North America in early 2027, with order books opening in the fall of 2026. Ford said that the new variant will be priced “in the mid $70,000s”. This would make it the second most expensive member of the Bronco lineup behind the $79,995 Raptor.
