• Dodge has confirmed “new product announcements” for Roadkill Nights.
  • One of them could be the Charger SRT Hellcat, which should have around 777 hp.
  • Other announcements remain mysterious, but brand is working on multiple models.

During the media preview of the 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee, Stellantis’ Head of American Brands dropped a juicy hint about the future that was largely overlooked. In particular, Tim Kuniskis suggested there would be a surprise debut at Roadkill Nights.

The Ram and SRT boss was coy on details, but Dodge has now quietly confirmed “new product announcements” for the event. This is hardly surprising as the performance brand used to make a big fuss about the festivities leading up to the Woodward Dream Cruise.

Four years ago, Dodge effectively took over the M1 Concourse for a week and introduced a slew of new models in quick succession. This included the all-new Hornet and Charger Daytona SRT concept as well as an assortment of other debuts.

It’s unclear what the automaker has up their sleeve this time, but the wording suggests we can expect at least two new vehicles. Given that Kuniskis is the head of SRT and Stellantis recently confirmed plans for a Charger SRT Hellcat, it’s only natural to assume the highly-anticipated model could debut this August. It’s expected to have a massive rear wing and a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 producing around 777 hp (579 kW / 788 PS).

As for what the other announcements are, that’s a bit of a crapshoot. They could be as mundane as a special edition or significantly more noteworthy. As you’re undoubtedly aware, Dodge is working on several new and updated models including a facelifted Durango as well as a new GLH crossover and Copperhead flagship.

The company will also celebrate the Charger’s 60th anniversary with a massive car show, while the event will also have vehicle displays and celebrity appearances.
