The Toy Story franchise is an iconic, multi-generational institution, so whenever a new one hits cinemas, it’s a big deal. This month, Toy Story 5 will arrive in theaters, and to celebrate the film, Porsche has unveiled three one-off 911 models built through its Sonderwunsch division and taking inspiration from the films.
You may be asking yourself, why on Earth would someone order a Porsche 911 that looks like a Toy Story character? That’s a good question. But the three special 911s were not actually ordered by customers; instead, they were commissioned by Porsche itself and will be sold as part of a broader charitable initiative benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the American Red Cross, and Starlight Children’s Foundation.

The first of the trio is a wild 911 GT3 RS inspired by Buzz Lightyear. It’s painted in a combination of white, Green Yellow, Lizard Green, Fire Red, Light Sport Grey and purple, just like the beloved character. As with any Sonderwunsch creation, the attention to detail is incredible, with elements such as the front louvers, the driver-side air intake, and the top element of the rear wing painted purple.

Porsche has also added Space Ranger logos to the decklid, the hood, and the rocker panels, and even painted “Lightyear” on the Goodyear tires. The interior is also bespoke, with carbon-fiber side sills reading ‘To Infinity and Beyond’, white and grey leather and Alcantara, as well as purple trimmings.
Porsche 911 Carrera T Woody
The second car is inspired by Woody, taking the form of a 911 Carrera T. It’s a lot more restrained, finished in a custom blue that aims to mimic the look of blue jeans, using a combination of Golf Blue, White, and Dark Sea Blue. Certain elements, including the front splitter, wing mirrors, window surrounds, and wheel center caps, have an Aurum finish, contrasted with Coffee Black accents elsewhere.

As for the cabin, it combines Brown vintage leather with Cognac and Dark Night Blue leather, complete with Cohiba Brown stitching and a yellow-and-red painted checkered pattern across the seat backs. The side sills read ‘Ride Like the Wind!’
Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS Jessie
Rounding out the trio of 911s is a Targa 4 GTS built in Jessie’s style. It’s painted in a custom shade known as Jessie White Metallic and includes areas painted in 944 Cobalt Blue Metallic. There’s also gorgeous GTS Red pinstriping across the car, while the Targa top mimics the hat Jessie wears, with beige piping. It has perhaps the most dramatic interior of all, featuring Dark Night Blue, Bordeaux Red, and Pebble Grey leather with Pebble Grey stitching. The floor mats have a black-and-white cowhide pattern, and the side sills read ‘Yee Haw!’
All three cars are premiering at the world premiere of Toy Story 5 in Los Angeles on June 9. Porsche has yet to set a date for when they will be sold.
