BMW Z5: A New Design Study for a Mid-Engined Supercar

|

Feast your eyes on the BMW Z5, a conceptual study for a mid-engined supercar created by a pair of young Turkish designers named İsmet Çevik and Fatih Tezel. There's no description attached to the pictures, but if we counted the number of cylinders correctly, the designers built the concept with a V8 engine in mind. If you have any thoughts about the styling, you can leave them in the comments section below.

I like the design, but I don't think they will be able or more aloud to use this one exactly because it takes to many styling cues from other well known supercars. For instance the back looks similar to that of the new porsche 918 spyder and infront of the back, they have a flap over the engine similar to the bugatti veyron supersport. Also the front looks slightly like the Bertone Mantide with the headlights and angles. I do like though, how they incoporated lots of styling from the BMW Gina Concept, with the shapes of the doors, sides, etc.

I also like the way they display the engine and adore the wheels. One suggestion though would be to put little slits going down on each side of the exhaust, similar to that of the ferrari f430. And to make the headlights smaller and higher up, so it resembles there other models more yet still keep the aggressive front.

How come muslims drive christian cars if they say we are infidels worse than pigs and monkeys or something hateful in those lines.

Nice to look at, but pretty much as useless as most other outrageous digital concepts.

"How come muslims drive christian cars if they say we are infidels worse than pigs and monkeys or something hateful in those lines."

There is no such thing as a christian car or muslim car. A car is a collection of atoms and their arrangement forms varrious metals, plastics, liquids, and other materials. At no point is there a 'soul' in the car of which it could be convinced to become a muslim or a christian.

There is no such thing as a soul.
There is no such thing as god.
There is no such thing as a 'christian car'.

There is only a car designed and engineered by christains who think a magical sky daddy is watching them in an orwellian 1984 manner. In no way does the car, at any point, become 'christian'.

"How to combine design styles from different makes"
Lesson 1: combine the R8, Opel Insignia OPC concept, and the VisionDynamics concept.

They should use the new s63 engine. Makes more sense 560 hp with 502 lb-ft that would kill the Audi r8, bmw is also known for their superior handling over Audi.
