The race-liveried 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium sedan pictured above will serve as the official pace car during the NASCAR Ford Championship Weekend that takes place in Homestead, Florida, at the Miami Speedway, from November 16 to 18.

While its motorsport-career will come to an end after the race, the Fusion will then make its way into the garage of one lucky fan. To explain, Ford in cooperation with NASCAR has launched a new contest in which the pace car will be the top prize.

Those interested have from now through Sunday, November 18, to enter The Sprint “Win a Fusion Pace Car” Sweepstakes, either through the Sprint.com/Speed website or by stopping at Sprint’s mobile-marketing display located in the midway at every NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.

The pace car is based on the regular 2013 Ford Fusion sedan that will go on sale in the States this fall. It features a special paint scheme and is powered by Ford’s new 240-horsepower 2.0-liter EcoBoost Gasoline Turbocharged Direct Injection engine linked to a six-speed automtatic transmission with paddle shifting.

The winner of the competition will receive an all-expenses paid trip for two to Las Vegas, where they will be presented their 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium at the “NASCAR After the Lap” event.
