Watch a Ford Focus do a 180-Degree Flip after Getting Caught on a Trolley Wire!

|

Russian dashcam videos never cease to amaze us. Just when you think you have seen it all, along comes an incident that defines the word 'strange'. And guess what; the driver is not the one to blame here…

The man seen in the video driving the previous generation Ford Focus hatchback, was going his way when all of a sudden, the car's front end clipped a street trolley wire that had fallen onto the road.

The cable did not break and somehow got tangled with the compact car's undercarriage flipping it over in the process!

The driver was able to exit the car that landed on its roof, but not without some minor injuries as he is seen holding his wrist.

English 101 for American's:
A trolley is a shopping cart
A tram is a trolley.

The irony is that the music appears to be synced to the accident. Bizarre.

In Eastern Europe and further east it would be called a "Trolly-bus" pronounced "Trolly-Buz" you can see it to the right of the vid. A tram would be "Tramvia" exception is spain and Italy also uses the same word as the east.

I love the different expression thx for the shopping cart one I didn't know that one :-)

For "American's"?
Since when does the plural have an apostrophe?

As for the clip, Russian business as usual, just more acrobatic this time.

Omg why didnt they clean those wires up the minute they went down. That couldve ended alot more badly than it did.

insurance scam...notice how calm the driver of the camera car remains.notice how the driver of the wrecked car comes to him. notice how the video is exactly one minute long.

1. There is a possibility that no one else came out of the vehicle to help, the vehicle looks like the only "safe zone".

2. Video can be 20 mins long as well.. who cares. The uploader decided to clip it exactly 1 min.
3. So you expect the cam driver to start screaming and shouting like a mad person? In situations, remaining calm is always the best approach.

I call bull on your insurance scam theory.
