When it's snowing and the roads are ice cold, it's always a good idea to take it easy and be as gentle as a butterfly with you car's gas and brake pedals, especially when performing a turn or slowing down.
We guess that the gentleman driving this older generation Nissan Maxima had to learn his lesson the hard way. To be fair, he wasn't going fast, just faster than what road conditions permitted at the time, something he wouldn’t have had to do if he waited a few seconds for the cars on the street to pass by.
Once he realizes that one of them is heading straight towards him, he revs the Nissan's engine (who knows why), which doesn’t do him any good as the Maxima slides right into a pole before being rear-ended by a Saturn as well.
The grand finale sees the Maxima driver light up a cigarette – feel free to humor us why…

How do you know thats a cigarette?
Yeah, the one thing you don't want to do in the snow is rev your engine as high as you can. Check out the Saturn, right into the back, didn't even try to turn.
$800 for front bumper. $1200 for rear bumper and trunk lid. $9,350 for the municipal light pole bulb replacement.
With no winter tyres, with no chance to grip...
Yeah...it's he just set his finger on fire and smoked it right?
Why didn't he just keep his wheels straight , not step on the gas and go straight ahead into the driveway?
LOL
Reminds me of the Hamlet Cigar adverts we had in the UK years ago.
The Maxima dude should use hand brake let the car drift on the side then accelerate.
One funny video...
