You can now add the UK’s Car Magazine to the invite-only list of Ferrari’s handpicked publications, which had a quick test drive of the new LaFerrari hybrid supercar and posted an online video review about their experience.
I have to say, the extremely limited nature of Ferrari’s press rides and the way it handled them with specific embargoes linked to high fines, does raise some legitimate questions about the car itself and the openness of the Italians to comparisons with the McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder, the LaFerrari’s two direct rivals.
In regards to Car’s first drive, you can color tester Chris Chilton very impressed, as he found the LaFerrari blazingly fast yet “as manageable as its 458 baby brother”.
