Cyclist Ben Koker was riding his bike through 10th and Main Streets in downtown Oregon City when a young lad crossed into the intersection without coming to a full stop and hit him.
Most of these incidents that end up on YouTube usually gain traction with viewers for their obscenity and physical alterations – not this time, though.
Sure the cyclist threw some “F” words into the air during the impact (not directly aimed at anyone), but both parties were as calm as a lazy cat on a hot summer afternoon and placidly waited for the police officer to arrive at the scene without any drama whatsoever.
This should be a shining example on how to deal with these incidents on the road.
