For the price of a supermini, Peugeot offers the Bipper Tepee, a small MPV derived from the Bipper van that can easily play both the role of a family car and of a vehicle for small businesses.

Buyers should know that it has all the advantages of the Bipper van: practicality, interior space, sliding rear doors and low running costs. It also has some of the disadvantages of a commercial vehicle: it’s a bit rough around the edges, the cabin is noisy at high speeds, ride is not smooth on bumpy roads and the engine is underpowered.

Speaking of which, the Bipper Tepee only comes with a 75hp 1.3-liter turbo diesel engine, offered with either a manual or an automatic transmission. It goes without saying that it won’t break any acceleration records, especially when fully loaded. But despite that, Carbuyer’s Ginny Buckley was won over by the Peugeot Bipper Tepee’s functional, no-frills feel. Scroll down to watch the review.
