This is one of the first video reviews of the all-new 2016 Honda Civic sedan and it comes from Consumer Reports.

The car gets top marks for its design, with the reviewer saying that with this generation the Civic may be once again the car you want to buy because of its looks. The interior gets praise too: it looks premium and upscale.

Despite the dynamic design, visibility in the new Civic is quite good – the standard back-up camera and the available lane watch system certainly help.

Sleek rooflines usually affect rear seat room and the 2016 Civic makes no exception, with headroom described as tight for adults. However, there’s no shortage of legroom.

’ Tom Mutchler drove a top-of-the-line Touring trim, which features heated front seats with power adjustment for the driver’s seat but no lumbar adjustment. The reviewer had a bone to pick with the optional touchscreen infotainment system, which is not that intuitive.

Sadly, the review says nothing about the 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine or about how the new Civic handles so we’ll have to wait for more detailed assessments.
