We may have already seen the latest Audi R8 V10 Plus and Porsche 911 Turbo S going head-to-head , making for a very interesting battle.

Now, the two meet again, only this time the R8 has to face the with the “base” 911 Turbo instead of the more potent Turbo S.

Apart from driving thrills and impressive looks, both also belong to the very limited club of supercars that are usable enough to be driven on a daily basis.

While this duo offers similar performance, each does so in its own way. With its naturally-aspirated 5.2-litre V10, the R8 V10 Plus bucks turbocharging in favor of instant throttle response – and that, in our book, is a big, well, plus.

In contrast, the 911 has a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine which, while slightly down on power with 560 hp on tap, compared to Audi’s 602 hp, still has more torque. That means that off the line, it has a slight advantage but, as you can see in the clip, outright pace isn’t everything.
