Just after Mulliner, Bentley’s in-house coach-building division, revealed its latest bespoke features for the Flying Spur, it rolled out another special.

As the name implies, the limited-production Mulsanne Speed Beluga Editionis based around the potent Mulsanne Speed meaning it is powered by a 6.75-liter V8 engine delivering 530 hp and 811 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to those figures, it can accelerate to 96 km/h (60 mph) in a brisk 4.8 seconds before topping out at 305 km/h (190 mph).

What distinguishes it from the standard model are a number of special exterior and interior features.

The bodywoek has a stealthy black paint finish as well as a set of gloss black five-spoke wheels, laser-etched ‘Beluga Edition’ engraving and a tinted ‘Flying B’ hood ornament.

Step inside and you’re welcomed with distinct sill plates that read “Beluga Edition”, and high-end leather upholstery. Customers are able to option either Burr Walnut, Dark Stained Burr Walnut or Piano Black trim to finish things off.

It remains unclear how many units of the Mulsanne Speed Beluga Edition are bound for production or how much each will cost.
