Mini is upgrading the equipment levels and introducing new personalization options for its Hatch and Clubman models.

The compact hatch and its more practical version will, from March, come with the company’s Teleservices and eCall as standard.

Mini Teleservices monitors the car’s service condition throughout its life and, if an issue is detected, the system can send the data to the owner’s preferred retailer and an appointment can be arranged.

The UK arm of Mini has also added LED headlights and fog lights in the popular Chili pack. More than 50 per cent of the Hatch customers are opting for the Chili pack, with the number for the Clubman going up to 75 per cent, acknowledging the value on offer with this option.

Two new optional packs are also available, allowing customers to personalize their car for less money.

The Tech pack represents a 10 per cent saving and includes a head-up display which even projects things like media information and navigation instructions, a 8.8-inch central display with a 20GB hard drive, 3D mapping and real-time traffic info and a Harman Kardon audio system with 12 speakers among others.

The Mini Yours pack is exclusive to the fresh Mini Convertible and Clubman. It includes Walk Nappa leather upholstery for the seats and steering wheel, a quilted leather design, a Union Flag embroidered into the headrest and additional interior lighting.
