Best MOTORing’s Motoharu Kurosawa was able to complete a lap of the legendary road course in 8:01.72, an impressive time even by today’s standards. For the record, we're talking two generations back on a design that's already 10 years old.
Of course that was always the case with the Godzilla, each generation using the latest technology in powertrains and all-wheel drive in order to compete with the fastest machinery out there and, for good measure, rolled out an even better V-Spec variant.
Watching the driver wrestle with the mighty Nissan in order to get the best out of it, battling with the grip and keeping the engine on boost, reminds us exactly why the GT-R enjoys the fame of the original supercar slayer.
