The latest Nissan GT-R is the result of 47-years of expertise and constant development, as the people in charge of the project explain.

Although the R35 has been with us ever since 2007, the car continuously evolved, culminating in the 600 PS (591 HP) NISMO variant. But the “standard” model is almost as powerful and interesting, continuing the legacy left by the “Hakosuka” KPGC10 in 1972.

Boasting 565 HP and 467 lb-ft (633 Nm) of torque from its 3.8-liter, twin-turbocharged V6, VR38DETT, the 2017 MY Godzilla comes bearing ultimate precision and performance, to differentiate itself from the competition.

While keeping a close relationship with motorsport, an essential element of the GT-R, the vehicle has a flat torque curve that insures optimal mid-range acceleration. The car’s cooling performance was enhanced with a 20% front intake size increase, in order to calm down the beast under the hood, while all of the body elements were re-sculpted for improved aerodynamics.

All these changes were made in order optimize the car’s performance, and unleash the best product on the streets and on the track – transforming the R35 into the best GT-R in history.
