The Grand Tour team is currently in Tuscany where Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond are putting the Challenger Hellcat and Aston Martin DB11 through their paces at Mugello.

This short video comes courtesy of Mr Clarkson’s social media feed, with a description stating “Hammond, me and the bravest camera team ever, This is the Grand Tour”.

Indeed, driving towards two drifting supercars does require nerves of steel, and from what we can gather, the folks behind the wheel of what looks like an Alfa Romeo 159 managed to get pretty close to the Hellcat and the Aston, particularly the latter which wasn’t exactly keeping to the outside of the corner.

Before he posted the clip, Clarkson also asked his fans to guess which car was faster around Mugello between the Hellcat and the DB11. He followed that question up with a post which reads: “So. Americans seem to think it’ll be the Hellcat. Europeans think it’ll be the DB11. The Grand Tour has the answer. Which is a UK US joint venture.”

Fans are also invited to get in on the action, as they can now win a trip to attend a studio recording this autumn. Registrations can be made for three different studio locations, one in the US, one in the UK and one in Germany.

The draw starts on July 7th at 06:00:01 AM (PT) and ends on the 12th at 11:59.59 PM (PT). Here’s where you need to go in order to sign up (UK Link / US Link / DE Link) – and in case you were wondering, travel and accommodations are on them.
