Few cars are quite as iconic as the McLaren F1. Known for pushing the automotive industry to previously impossible heights, it’s little wonder why well-kept F1s routinely sell for well over $10 million.

While those lucky few F1 owners would never think about modifying their cars, Kd Kalim Design has dreamt up how an off-road baja style F1 would look if it were ever created.

The F1 used as a base for this wild creation is the famed Harrods-wrapped F1 GTR but due to its adoption of some absolutely absurd elements, it bares few similarities to the real thing. That’s not necessarily a bad thing however, as the result is something out of this world.

Up front, the rendering artist has mocked up a massive bull-bar complete with a set of four yellow spotlights. Additionally, a set of prominent canards have been fitted to both sides of the front bumper as have a set of fortified side skirts. There’s also a steel cage wrapping around the cabin and door frames as well as a huge rear wing and two further spotlights on the roof.
