There’s a possibility Paul Walker’s character of Brian O’Connor could make cameo appearances in upcoming Fast & Furious films.

While speaking with ET Online, Walker’s brothers, Caleb and Cody, revealed that Vin Diesel had approached them about someday bringing Walker’s character back to the franchise at some stage.

“I had a phone call with Vin for about an hour and we really discussed this a while back. He wanted [our] blessing,” after Diesel asked if it “would be acceptable to maybe bring Paul’s character back… to really kind of let his fans know he’s still out there.

“Universal wants to make sure to be respectful of Paul and his image too, and his family,” Caleb and Cody said.

After Paul passed away with his friend Roger Rodas in a fiery Porsche Carrera GT crash on November 31, 2013, his brothers stepped in to finish filming of Furious 7. Walker’s character was then farewelled in an emotional tribute during the closing scene of the film, seemingly sending him out of the franchise for good.

However, if Caleb and Cody decide it’s appropriate to bring O’Connor back to cinema screens, the brothers could again step in with the help of CGI.

If Brian O’Connor does return to the franchise, do you think it would be appropriate?
