A blue 1971 Lamborghini Miura P400 S once owned by singer Rod Stewart is set to cross the auction block this Saturday and is tipped to sell for between 800,000 to 900,000 pounds ($976,000 to $1.1 million).

Some may remember that Stewart’s Miura was for sale on eBay last year for around $1.9 million, despite the fact that since the singer’s ownership, the car has passed through the the hands of at least three other owners.

In its favor, the car was transformed to SV specification in 2013 during a thorough restoration. That means that rather than a 4.0-liter V12 developing 370 hp, it now has 383 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque on tap and has been outfitted with a limited slip differential, widened rear track, SV wheels and a revised suspension setup.

The restoration to SV spec and concours condition is thought to have set back the previous owner about $150,000.

Thanks to the restoration, both the interior and exterior are in as-new condition, with the Blue Notte paint glistening under the sun and the black leather interior just as plush as ever.

Considering that just 764 Miuras were ever produced and that it is rightfully considered by many as the most beautiful Lamborghini built, the $1 million-odd expected sales price seems a relative bargain.
