Back when Clarkson, Hammond, and May used to run things over at Top Gear, they had a famous segment of the show called ‘Star in a Reasonably Priced Car’.

It included inviting a bunch of celebrities and making them drive around the Dunsfold airfield track as fast as they could, behind the wheel of an average car, with updates safety updates such as bucket seats, harness, and roll cage.

Succeeding the Suzuki Liana, Chevrolet Lacetti, and Vauxhall Astra was the Kia Cee’d, or ‘Cee apostrophe D’ as Jezza used to call it, which was used for 5 seasons. It saw the current host, Matt LeBlanc, steal the show with the fastest lap time – 1:42.1, followed by another petrol head and avid car collector, Rowan Atkinson, at 1:42.2, while the bronze medal went to the German-born Irish actor, Michael Fassbender, with 1:42.8.

If all this talk about the old Top Gear has made you nostalgic, then know that one of the four Kia Cee’d that used to be part of the show is now offered for sale on eBay, by a private seller.

Made in 2010, it has 7,150 miles (11,507km) on the clock, and it’s said to be in perfect visual and driving condition. However, despite its possible collector flair, the car has yet to meet the reserve, as 26 bids have raised its price at £3,354 ($4,272), at the time of writing, but with the auction ending on June 18, there’s still enough time to catch the attention of someone that truly wants it.
