Aston Martin CEO Andy Palmer will not tolerate any flippers with the upcoming Valkyrie hypercar and promises to cancel their reservation if customers are caught trying to sell their build slot.

When asked about an unconfirmed build slot sale on Twitter, Palmer responded: “I doubt they have a slot, but if they do and we identify who flipped, they lose the car.”

He also added that if anyone is caught trying to sell a build slot, then they will also be banned from buying another special Aston Martin model in the future.

Aston Martin plans to build just 150 examples of the Valkyrie for the road and a further 25 units for track use only. According to the latest reports, the upcoming hypercar will be powered by a hybrid powertrain that combines naturally aspirated Cosworth 6.5-litre V12 with an electric motor for a total of 1130hp.

Aston Martin’s Valkyrie is being co-developed with Red Bull Racing and F1 legend Adrian Newey. A working prototype of the hypercar is expected to debut at Le Mans next year.
