Overall vehicles sales may be slipping around the world but Ferrari has yet to experience any kind of dwindling demand, recently announcing a record second quarter for deliveries and net revenue.

In Q2 2017, the Italian marque shipped a total of 2,332 vehicles, 118 more than it delivered in the same time period last year. Most of this increase can be attributed to the V12-powered GTC4Lusso while deliveries of the exclusive LaFerrari Aperta also continue around the world. Shortly, the 812 Superfast will flood Ferrari dealers, offering the company a further boost in sales and deliveries.

For the most part, V8-powered models like the California T, GTC4Lusso T and 488 GTB remained steady last quarter. Ferrari ultimately expects to ship about 8,400 vehicles in 2017, a 4.8 per cent increase over 2016.

On the financial side of things, Ferrari reported a net revenue of 920 million euros ($1 billion), 13.5 per cent greater than 2016. Additionally, net profit for the three months to June swelled from 97 million euro last year to 136 million euros ($161 million) in Q2 2017. By the end of the year, Ferrari expects gross operating profit to hit at least 950 million euros ($1.12 billion).
