2011 Ford Focus RS Going Under The Hammer With 18 Miles On The Clock

| |

'Leaving the time capsule' phrase may be somewhat of a cliché, but it best describes the condition of this Ford Focus RS.

The car has basically never been driven, as despite leaving the factory floor in 2011, it has only 18 miles (29km) on the clock. Nevertheless, it has four stamps in its service book, in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2016, and since the last one, it has put another 4 miles (6km) on the odo.

Its new state is very much visible both outside and in the cabin, as there's no wear,  while the delivery plastic is still on, and we reckon that it has likely maintained that new car smell too.

Besides the design tweaks meant to draw a clear line between the Ford Focus RS and the standard versions of the car, the performance version also benefits from a modified chassis, and a 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine, rated at 300hp and 324lb-ft (439Nm) of torque.

Now, as all good things come at a price, this hot hatch is expected to fetch between £38,000 and £44,000 ($49,655-$57,495) on November 11, in Birmingham, SilverstoneAuctions estimates. That puts it above the newer model, which can be had from way less in the UK - £32,265 ($42,160) to be more precise.
