Since launching their flagship Aventador S late last year, Lamborghini haven’t provided us with a lot of city and highway driving footage.

Behind the wheel of this magnificent Blu Nila model is YouTuber Shmee150.  During his ride in the Aventador S, he takes it from the streets of Frankfurt to the Autobahn, although not before confessing to not liking the jerky 7-speed transmission. Apparently, though, once you get past that issue, this thing turns into the quintessential supercar.

In other words, it has the looks, it has the road presence, the V12 soundtrack and amazing straight line performance. Compared to its predecessor, the Aventador S puts down an extra 40 PS (39 HP) for a total of 740 PS (730 HP), mixed in with 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque. That’s enough to get you from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.9 seconds, while the top speed is rated at 350 km/h (217 mph). Also, thanks to a dry weight of 1,575 kg (3,472 lbs), the Aventador S has a power-to-weight ratio of 2.13 kg/hp.

Now, if you’re curious how fast it gets from a regular cruising speed to just over 300 km/h (186 mph) on the Autobahn, you know where to click.
